Teaching Philosophy

Teaching is an act of hope. Every semester, I have the privilege of working with current and aspiring school leaders who are committed to making education more just, more equitable, and more liberatory.

My teaching is grounded in the belief that educational leadership is both deeply practical and profoundly theoretical. My students need frameworks they can use tomorrow in their schools, and they need critical lenses to interrogate systems of power and oppression.
