Parsippany-Troy Hills Township Schools
- Conducted district-wide professional development about implicit bias in leadership
- Developed a three-year plan addressing equity audit findings toward developing equity awareness
- Facilitated professional learning based on the three-year development plan
Paterson Public Schools
- Engaged in a three-year partnership to transform their district toward an equity orientation by coaching all principals and district leaders on high-leverage equity-oriented leadership practices
- Conduct one on one meetings with school leaders to discuss their annual yearly progress goals and convert these to an equity-oriented lens
- Developed equity resource library for leaders to utilize for professional learning
- Assisted all principals to create equity goals, initiatives, and progress monitoring during implementation, resulting in equity improvements as evident through student’s voice, professional learning delivered to teachers
- Collaborated with the district to craft district-wide equity statement including beliefs and actions, a first for this district
- Facilitated professional learning based on the three-year professional learning plan
- Delivered keynote address during Summer Institute for district and school level leaders
Roselle Public Schools
- Conducted equity audit to uncover systemic inequities and provide concretized solutions for improvement
- Monthly meetings with the superintendent and assistant superintendent to work through actionable items to transform the district toward equity orientation, using the findings from the equity audit as the central data point.
- Engaged in a three-year partnership to transform their district toward an equity orientation by coaching all principals and district leaders on high-leverage equity-oriented leadership practices, including highly effective and equitable PLCs, equity-oriented data-driven protocols, procedures, and activities, and district-wide professional learning to develop staff and faculty’s equity awareness
